What we collect, and what we don’t do with it

The short version: we collect what you type into our forms so we can call you back about insulation work. We don’t sell it, we don’t rent it, and we don’t add you to a mailing list. The detail is below.

1. General provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy explains how Absolute Spray Foam Insulation (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information you provide when visiting and using insulation4you.com.

1.2. By using this website you agree to the terms set out here. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t submit information through our forms — you’re welcome to call us instead on 855-937-0666.

1.3. This policy covers this website only. It doesn’t cover other sites we link to, or our profiles on platforms such as Google, Facebook and Instagram, which are governed by those platforms’ own policies.

2. What we collect

2.1. Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site, we collect what you enter. Depending on the form, that may include:

• your name;
• your phone number;
• your email address, where you choose to provide one;
• the ZIP code of the property;
• the type of building and the work you’re asking about;
• anything you write in the message field.

Only the name, phone number and ZIP code are required. Everything else is optional.

2.2. Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we record limited technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you visit, and the site you arrived from. This is collected through server logs and analytics tools rather than entered by you.

2.3. What we don’t collect. We don’t ask for and don’t want payment card details, Social Security numbers or financial account information through this website. If a form on this site ever appears to ask you for those, don’t enter them — contact us by phone instead.

2.4. The cost calculator. The figures you enter into our cost calculator are processed in your own browser. They aren’t sent to us or stored anywhere unless you go on to submit a form.

3. How we use it

3.1. We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry: to call or email you back, to schedule an assessment, to prepare an estimate, and to carry out any work you go on to order.

3.2. We don’t use your details for marketing you didn’t ask for. Submitting a form does not add you to a mailing list. We won’t send you newsletters, promotions or unrelated offers on the basis of a quote request.

3.3. Calls and texts. By giving us your phone number you’re asking us to contact you about your enquiry, and we may call or text you about it. If you’d rather we didn’t text, say so and we won’t. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we’ll stop.

3.4. We use automatically collected information in aggregate to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site working properly — not to build a profile of you as an individual.

4. Who else sees it

4.1. We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information. We don’t share it with other contractors, lead-generation companies or advertisers.

4.2. We do use ordinary service providers to run the business, and your information may pass through them in the course of doing so. These currently include our website host and email provider, and analytics services. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

4.3. Where a job requires a subcontractor or a supplier — for example a manufacturer warranty registration — we share only what that task actually needs, and only after you’ve engaged us for work.

4.4. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where it’s necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

5. Cookies and analytics

5.1. This site uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to function. Others are used by analytics tools to tell us how many people visit and which pages they read.

5.2. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some things may behave differently.

5.3. Pages that embed content from other services — for example a YouTube video or a Google map — may set cookies from those services when the content loads. Our video player only loads after you click play, so nothing is loaded from YouTube until you choose to watch.

6. How long we keep it

6.1. We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of work quoted or carried out, and after that for as long as required for tax, warranty and legal purposes.

6.2. If you asked for a quote and didn’t go ahead, you can ask us to delete your details and we will, unless we’re required to keep them.

7. Security

7.1. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including restricting who can access enquiry records and using encrypted connections on this website.

7.2. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security. Please don’t send sensitive information such as financial details through the forms on this site.

8. Your choices

8.1. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details in section 10 and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.

8.2. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights over your personal information. We’ll honour a request made under any applicable state privacy law — just tell us what you’re asking for.

8.3. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time, by replying to any message from us or by calling us.

9.1. This website is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we’ll delete it.
